It’s funny where life’s journey takes you and how you evolve as a person over time. I started out in life with one very clear career goal, absolutely focused and determined to be a scientist and clinical researcher. Six years at university and then 19 years as a hands on researcher and manager of clinical research in the NHS and here I am doing something completely different.
It was all a bit scary at first but absolutely loving it.
I really love painting, making and creating things especially if it is with discarded materials or things that are often overlooked. Stuff found on the beach like driftwood, shells, reclaimed wood and general flotsam and jetsam are good examples of things I like to work with.
I’ve had lots of positive feedback on my paintings, driftwood creations and my wall art which is crafted from recycled and reclaimed wood.
